About PeptideCodex

PeptideCodex is a structured, research-focused reference for peptides that appear in the scientific literature. It exists because the discussion of research peptides is spread across preprints, review articles, patents, animal-study monographs, and community writeups — and because that surface area is difficult for a reader to navigate.

Our scope

Each profile is a summary of what the published literature actually says about a compound — its mechanism as reported, its molecular characteristics, dosing ranges used in animal studies, reconstitution math, and citations. Where a claim comes from a specific paper, we cite it.

What we are not

Framing

The compounds discussed are described in a research-use-only framing throughout the site. This reflects both their regulatory status in most jurisdictions and the fact that most human dosing data for these compounds is preliminary. See our disclaimer and editorial policy for more detail.
