Purpose

GHK-Cu and BPC-157 are the two peptides most frequently paired in the skin-remodelling and soft-tissue-repair research literature. GHK-Cu is the reference dermatological peptide, characterised in ECM-remodelling and hair-follicle studies. BPC-157 is the reference systemic tissue-repair pentadecapeptide.

Component peptides

  • GHK-Cu — topical 0.1–2% formulations, or 1–2 mg subcutaneously every other day in reported research writeups.
  • BPC-157 — 200–500 mcg subcutaneously, once or twice daily.

Timing & rotation

Research writeups typically describe a 6-week concurrent administration period, followed by a 4- to 6-week washout during which any remodelling effects are allowed to complete without ongoing intervention. Topical GHK-Cu is often continued through the washout at a reduced frequency.

The rationale for cycling is to bound total exposure and to allow assessment of durability of any observed effect.

Reconstitution notes

  • GHK-Cu is best reconstituted in sterile water or 0.9% saline rather than bacteriostatic water; benzyl alcohol can interfere with the copper coordination sphere. See the GHK-Cu profile for detail.
  • BPC-157 is reconstituted in bacteriostatic water per the standard reconstitution guide.

Reported outcomes

Animal-model literature reports accelerated wound closure and improved cosmetic outcome measures with topical GHK-Cu; systemic BPC-157 literature reports parallel effects across multiple tissue-repair models. Human randomised-trial data on the specific combination are limited.
